Ken Wessman is a Senior Underwriter at SRB Capital. With a strong background in Linux, Unix and Posix systems, and scientific research, he is passionate about leveraging technology to drive innovation and improve business outcomes. As a senior underwriter, his primary responsibility is constructing underwriting packages for the qualification of ERC claims. This involves certifying clients' claims for government-recognized service disruptions and conducting extensive research to ensure compliance for incorporated businesses. He also constructs underwriting packages based on legislative bodies that have jurisdiction over workplace settings. Additionally, Wessman conducts in-depth research into supply chain disruptions relating to supply types and periods of disruption, as well as industries most impacted during the COVID-19 epidemic.  

His technical expertise allows him to help individuals and businesses navigate complex tax laws and regulations. Ken is dedicated to staying up-to-date on changes in tax codes and state legislation, ensuring that the clients have access to the most accurate and current information available. In addition to Ken's underwriting duties, he has experience in implementing and maintaining software applications that run on Linux, Unix, and POSIX-compliant systems. His expertise in system integration and shell scripting has allowed Wessman to effectively automate routine processes, improving our efficiency and accuracy. Ken leverages his scientific research background to approach analytical thinking, problem-solving, and data analysis in his work. Recently, we have incorporated AI into our data collection and synthesis process for IRS and Treasury Code and state legislation. This allows us to provide real-time insights, improving the accuracy and effectiveness of our risk assessments.
